Radiant Faces
Numbers 6:24-25 and 2 Corinthians 3:18

"May the face of God shine upon you." How does God's face shine upon us? How do we seek the face of God as commanded in scripture? This talk focuses on the faces of our persecuted brothers and sisters and how we can know more of the face of God through the reflection in their faces. As we share in their pain, loss, suffering, joy, victory, and celebration, we too can reflect a little part of the face of God.

Jesus is the Great I AM - The Sovereignty of Jesus
John: 14:6

The problem of persecution springs from man's depravity, the rebellion of man against Jesus being in control. Sin is trust in one's own sovereignty. This talk brings out the biblical principles of Jesus' sovereignty over truth, circumstances, persecution, sickness and healing, death and life, light and darkness. When you know God is in control, you can trust him.

The Spirit of Martyrdom-God's Greatest Commission
Acts 1:8

In Acts 1:8 Jesus prophesied that when the power of the Holy Spirit comes upon us, we will be His "Witnesses" or, more directly translated (from the Greek word "Martus"), that we will be His "Martyrs".

This talk illustrates how every believer will not only die as a martyr, but will live as a martyr; and confronts the fear of death with overcoming stories of those who have lived and died as martyrs for Christ. The hope of Christians in suffering and death is that these events will bring glory to God.

Sacrifice, Humility, and the Body of Christ
Rom 12:1

When we were born of the Spirit of Christ, we were delivered out of the bondage of this world, and born into the family of God. Two major characteristics of the work of the Holy Spirit in believers' lives are:

  1. Believers experience the sacrificial ‘agape' love of Jesus, and begin to give sacrificial love to others;
  2. Believers mature through brokenness of spirit, and walk in God-given humility before God and man, in all circumstances.

Jesus is a Friend to Terrorist
Rom 5:8

Jesus surrounded himself with radicals. Judas the Zealot is presumed to be from a radical political party. Peter was a zealous personality, and cut the ear off of a slave. Saul persecuted and murdered Christians; he became Saint Paul and the major writer of the New Testament. The history of Christianity is turning terrorist into disciples of Christ. This talk looks at the power of forgiveness through modern stories of the persecuted Church and terrorist who have recently come to Christ

The Value of a Bible?
Rev 6:9

Biblical teaching and testimonies of the cost believers throughout history have paid to possess a Bible. This talk is a renewal of being good stewards of God's word.

Understanding Islamic Terrorism - For the Love of Muslims
1 John 4:5-6

This seminar examines the basic tenets of Islam as taught in the Koran and Hadith. The foundations of Islam are compared to the foundations of Christianity. Some key issues are: Allah vs. Jehovah; Muhammad vs. Jesus; Salvation; Judgment Day; Martyrdom; and Jihad. Does Islam really teach peace and love? David shares the answers to these questions through personal stories from trips to Islamic nations, and compares the fruit of Islam to the fruit of the Gospel of Jesus. The talk concludes with practical ways that we can begin to witness to Muslims and support Christian Gospel work around the world. When time permits the talk ends with a question and answer time.

Pastor David Witt desires to serve your church, group or school. He is not limited to these topics, but God has put it on his heart to share these truths often. If desired, David will use some of these talks in a Concert of Prayer style, by combining teaching with facilitated prayer. Every speaking engagement will briefly explain the history and mission of The Voice of the Martyrs. These talks are all illustrated with pictures from a Power Point presentation. Prayer is of utmost importance to David and he is committed to pray for the leading of the Holy Spirit before every speaking engagement.
