    Dear David,
Does this mean that we can donate items for the project even if we are not signed up to go?
Thank you for the e-mail , I’ve been speaking on Columbia and have two more presentations to give. May I pass this information on at my next two presentations scheduled for May 30 and June 4 2009?

It is good to hear that our God is still acting to bring people to the knowledge of His love and salvation. I pray for God’s people all around the world that are suffering for Christ. Because of government greed I am unable to support your group. I live in California were the cost of living is higher than other states but I do not get more money because of this. I too am suffering for Christ.
In the garden just before Jesus was arrested He prayed to God “if there is any other way let this cup pass from me. Not what I want but what you want is what is important.” He did this because He knew His suffering would provide salvation for everyone. To make your self suffer in a fashion that does not bring you to salvation is not God’s will. If you are suffering and are saved give your suffering to God and seek to know Him. Because the Hebrews turned there backs on God He gave them something they wanted that would make them suffer. Still He did not totally destroy them. He still loves them and you. He will do what is needed to restore you to the place He wants you to be. He will deliver you at the time that He thinks is right. Suffering need not be painful if you seek God’s reason for the suffering, respond to it as He leads and trust Him.

Good article on this beautiful little sis-in-Christ. I have been praying for her. What a brave, young lady! I understand how she would like her parents to embrace her as a Christian. How sad she can’t connect with any other Christians. The Holy Spirit is her Rock. I pray she realizes HIS presence daily.

This is the time where Christian Americans must take in those persecuted to provide them safety and protection from their persecuters.
“Rom 12:13 contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality”
Persecuted Christians in Rome fled to live in caves and forests. It was not uncommon for fellow Christians to bring homeless Christians into their homes for providence and protection. As the resurgence of the old Roman empire is quickly coming upon us, it is time to come to the aid of persecuted Christians in our country.

Many of us don’t realize how much our other brothers and sisters in Christ have to go through. Fatima’s story is very encouraging to me and keeps me going. If I were faced with death because of my faith is Jesus Christ, I don’t know what I would do. She is so strong and she just amazes me. I will be praying for her strength to be restored each and every day as she faces the judge and must go against her own family. I think it is time for us to rise up and help these people that are being persecuted all around the world. We love you Fatima! Just keep going and stay strong.

David this was an extremly good article that really brought to light the clear contrast between the Christian God “Yahweh” and the Allah of the Qur’an. I really apprciated the history and the “user friendly” approach to explain clearly the differences. I’m sending this off to a couple of young men from our church who are away at colleges misistring to Muslim friends.

Thank you for the article. I find the issue of reconciling the God of the Bible with the Allah of the Qur’an is a hot button between Christian and Muslim friends of mine. Your article is rich with information and historical reference(s). I sincerely thank you for your willingness to be used by Christ and for your ministry.
    Jesus Bless you.
I pray that all Muslims who truly seek to honor God will find lasting peace and meaning in the “Allah” of the Holy Bible.

I thought the winter newsletter was great, especially the poster. I showed the poster and article to the ladies in my prayer last evening (Tuesday, March 2nd) they thought it was great. A few of them even asked if I could get a copy for them. Would it be possible for you to send me 5 copies of the poster?
The story of Salem was really powerful, I read it to the ladies as well. We are especially praying for the Middle East since we are on part 6 of the book “Fearless Love”. We will finish the book over the next two meetings. We meet monthly.
Look forward to your next newsletter.

Here is what I sent to the Consulate in South Africa:
    Dear Consulate Of Algeria
In 2006 Ordinance 06-03 was passed. This law lists that no audio, video, or any media; no printed material or conversations shall “shake the faith of Muslims.”
This law oppresses all freedom of religion, assembly, speech and press for all Algerians.
n 1976 the Algerian Government adopted their first Constitution which was amended in 1996 declaring the Algerian people a democratic republic state. In the preamble of this Constitution the very first sentence is “The Algerian people are a free people, and decided to remain so.”
Article 36 of this Constitution speaks of the Algerian’s freedom of creed and opinion.
Our humble request is that the Algerian Government repel Ordinance 06-03
On May 28th 2011 Algerian Pastor Krimo was convicted to 5 years in prison for giving a Christian CD to his Muslim Neighbor.
We are asking the Algerian Government to pass laws that protect the freedom of Algerians and drop all charges against Pastor Krimo.

To my dear brother and sister Pastor and Mrs. Krimo and to your lovely child,
Greetings in the name of Jesus!! Thank you so much for your faithfulness to our Lord. I know that you have faced many difficulties in the last few months. I have been praying for you. My prayer is that you will continue to draw closer to the Lord and to know his GREAT love for you!
You are doing the right thing. It was right that you offered a Christian CD to your neighbor. The Lord wants us to be bold and courageous in our faith that the lost may hear of his love and grace, repent of their sins, and be saved. We must all continue to preach the gospel to those who need to hear it.
Even in the hard times, the Lord is with you. My prayer is that you be filled with his love and his peace no matter what difficulties you face. May the Lord continue to provide for your EVERY need according to his riches in glory!

Blessings of grace and peace to you and your family! You are in my prayers and in my heart as I lift you up to our Heavenly Father. May He grant you His peace that passes understanding and a clear sense of His presence with you as you walk through these turbulent days. I pray that He will grant you strength and courage and protection from the evil one. May the joy of your salvation fill your heart and may our Savior satisfy your hearts with Himself at all times.
Psalm 29:10b-11 “the Lord sits enthroned as king forever. May the Lord give
strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!”
How wonderful it is to be a part of the body of Christ, to know you from afar and to have our hearts knit together in love for our Lord! May the riches of Christ be poured out on you dear brother and sister in Christ!
Jude 24 “Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, 25 to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever.”

    Dear Brother and Sister Krimo,
We are praying for you. Here are some scriptures to encourage you. Psalms 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Isaiah 40:30-31. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Romans 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? V.33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. I Cor. 15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, Because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
May God give you peace, joy and love.

It was a beautiful conference yesterday.
How does one get shot at but not shot down?
Thank you for the wonderful testimonies and stories. They were encouraging. It gives me a further glimpse into dealing with the enemy. After all the real enemy is Satan, not muslims. And the motto of the conference: not to be delivered from persecution but how can I help you in it? I like that.
Keep up the good work. God will bless you and family.
As for Ana, the lady insane from so much religion now a child of God and in her right mind, it is always the heretical pastors that persecute as in “… Pashur smote Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate…” (Jeremiah 20:2)

    Dear David,
I was very touched as I read what you wrote about this man Tom White. He truely sounded like a real Man of GOD and did alot for the sake of JESUS. It broght me to tears at the last paragragh and you are right we all have the capability of falling into the enemy’s trap and it is only by GOD’s Grace that we stay out of Satan’s pitfalls. But i also know before he can get us their we have a choice. This is a very sad tradegy that has happen so close to you Dave and i sure will be praying for all the staff involved and for you also. I see in you Dave all the things you expressed about this Tom. You truely have a heart for GOD and don’t you ever give up. Just know as i know you already know he will never leave you nor forsake you. He’s always by your side. Say Hi to your most gracious and humble wife for me. I just think she is the neatest and kindest person. She also shows God’s love all around her. Your sister in Christ, Judy Wright

Thank you so much for that wonderful summary of Tom White’s life of service, and for pointing out the lesson learned by Tom’s ultimate failure. None of us is exempt from any sin, let us remember that. Jesus said, “He that is without sin, let him cast the first stone.” No one did. And let us pray always for the moral and spiritual strength of ourselves and all of our leaders and ministry representatives.

David, and Martyr staff: This is certainly very sad news and our hearts and prayers are with all of you Including Tom’s wife and family. All of you are continually in the line of fire and on the frontlines of the battlefield. Our enemy, the devil, roams about seeking whom he may devour. Keep your armor on for the battle is not over and the enemy is losing ground. Our GOD is mighty in battle and mighty to save. David you are so right, all of us come to God through grace and we have to live and walk in grace by faith or everything we do will be in the flesh. I pray a fresh anointing on all of you, not by might, nor by strength but by the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray a hedge of protection around all of you as you continue to serve the brave men and women who serve our Risen Savior in the areas many of us fear to tread. We believe with you that Tom is in the presence of His Savior. God bless you and may all of you sense HIS peace at this time. In HIM, Steve and Rita Horten

Great letter. Thank you very much for that. I know of your ministry through my church and I have read Tortured for Christ and get monthly correspondence from VOM also. I did not know about this incident that you shared, and I am so sorry to hear about it and that Tom took his life, but i love your understanding of the grace of God. You are so right. No Christian is beyond moral failure. This is why we continue to point to Christ. It is only when we understand our complete dependence upon the grace of God and put our confidence in it that we can be bold in our proclamation of truth as Tom did.
    Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
I pray for his family and look forward to seeing him in heaven.

Dear David & staff- I have been an area representative of Voice of the Martyr’s,
and am presently a Be-a-Voice volunteer.
I never knew Dr. White Personally, as you did. But after reading volumes of his articles( he wrote an article in every monthly magazine, as well as many special articles and books), I feel that I knew him very well. I,too, feel we have lost a “Hero of the Faith”. I am deeply saddened by his death- and have taken much comfort in the Tribute you have written of him. I read it over almost daily. I envision the picture of “Safely Home”. and know that can be Tom, in Jesus’ loving, forgiving arms.
I also, expect to see him in heaven. Thank you, David, for your kind and comforting witness of our dear brother.

I appreciated very much your meaningful tribute to Tom. I have been a supporter of VOM for over 20 years. I also work with sexual abuse as a clinical psychologist, both with victims and perpetrators, and see the devastation that comes as a result of these situations in everyone’s lives. There are powerful tools for healing that can be used to help groups and individuals work through these difficult issues and come through standing stronger as individual and group members of the body of Christ. My heart breaks for the families, the living martyrs and the VOM and other organizations affected by this. I am in prayer and available to help if God should so desire. Please contact me if needed.
Blessings to you in your ministry,

Russell Stendal’s work is exciting w/ so many following Jesus & giving up violence. I understand that in Greek “martyr” means witness. Have you considered changing the name so you won’t be confused w/ suicide bombers? With less privacy and more concern for security, I wonder what people, such as postal carriers, think.

David, I understand what you are saying….but even from your letter:”…But let us keep in mind that no Christian is beyond moral failure and it is only by the grace of God that we avoid such pitfalls.” there is a strong possibility that Tom did what he was accused of!
In that case why do you white-wash the fact that there is (or at least) could be a 10y.o. wictim of his possible crime. I’m sorry but in all honesty your letter sounds too close to a official version of VOM & their president Jim Dau response.
Don’t we as Christians need to pray for the victims too?
